What Am I About?
I am a third year working towards a degree in English and Info Science & Tech at Colorado State University. I have always been passionate about words, stories, and the process of bringing people together through something we are all passionate about. The world of writing, whether that be fiction novels, creative memoirs, soulful poetry, or even a well crafted academic essay, can invite so many people to come together and share something unique.
Professionally, I work part time as a writing consultant for the CSU Writing Center, and help students and community members alike find their own voice and style when it comes to their work. I have helped people craft stellar academic essays, poems, and even applications that they can be proud of. I have also had my journalistic work published in the Dakota Ridge High School magazine, the Cordillara (2017 Issues 1 & 2).
What is Our Mission?
Here at Done Write, we aim to build a place that can writers of all types and creeds can come to in order to have access to resources for their work, an opportunity to share what they have, or even just chat with others about interests in the field. This is a place to come for advice, for companionship, and for building a community of your own for your work.
